Our mission is the empowerment of women and girls through the message of the drum. We sponsor drumming workshops, concerts, and other events ~ mostly in the SF Bay Area. Our events give us an opportunity to get together to drum and dance, to learn new rhythms and approaches to music, and to make a place to enjoy the familiar. We have a lot of fun together. Most of our events are open to everyone, including children.

This group is for people who are curious about TaKeTiNa, or who have already experienced it and want to dive deeper into rhythm as a tool for personal and social evolution. TaKeTiNa is a full-body, full-mind experience. It is simultaneously challenging and safe, and creates an atmosphere of no praise and no blame. Every Sunday evening, a small group of us get together to indulge in glasses of wine, delicious cookies, and drawing beautiful naked women.
