Drum Circles & Hand Drumming, Acoustic Instruments, Vocals and Poetry reading for all levels, the aim being to provide an introduction to the percussion techniques and rhythmical systems of Central Asian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern music. I started BDC because I wanted to build a community around drumming. Even though I'm a professional musician, I've always loved playing with anyone who enjoyed making in-the-moment music with others as much as I did. The purpose of the group is to build community, make in the moment music and share rhythm and dance based events. You should join us if this appeals to you.
